Stiching Shepherd Nederland is in 2009 opgeheven. Na 20 jaar ondersteuning moest en kon Shepherd India zichzelf redden met door de rente inkomsten uit het microkrediet project te gebruiken voor de eigen organisatiekosten. Helaas hebben wij inmiddels vernomen dat de projectgelden niet geheel op de juiste wijze ingezet worden. Wij raden daarom niemand aan om de samenwerking met Shepherd India (Madurai; olv. P Paramasamy) voort te zetten of te beginnen.

The Shepherd Foundation discontinued its activities in 2009. After 20 years of support to Shepherd India the local organisation was able to keep the organisation running on the benefits gained from the microcredit programme. In the meantime however we found out that not all projectcosts have been spend for the purpose it was provided. We therefore do not recommend anyone to cooperate with Shepherd India (Madurai; P. Paramasy).
